Richard Herring - Chairman of OMA Board
CEO APN Outdoor
Richard has nearly 30 years of experience in media and sales both in Australia and internationally.
He joined Cody Outdoor in 1995 and was appointed General Manager in 1998 and Chief Executive in 2001. He also has a strong background in sales in television and radio. He was appointed Chief Executive of the Outdoor division in early 2004. Richard
holds an MBA.

Brad Bishopp

Brad Bishopp is Co-founder and CEO of Bishopp Outdoor Advertising. Brad has been involved in the industry for 15 years running his dynamic billboard company specialising in servicing regional Queensland. Brad sees his position on the board as representation and voice for the smaller outdoor companies that still flourish in Australia.
Matthew Byrne

Matthew brings 20 years of cross format Out-of-Home experience to the board. He first started working in the industry in early 1991 as a Sales Contractor with Pearl and Dean Advertising.In 1992, Matthew launched Storm Vision Outdoor. Here he consulted with direct clients across multiple outdoor formats for operators including Pearl & Dean, Nettlefold Outdoor, Network Outdoor, Australian Posters, Claude Neon, Alan Davis and NLD. In 1997 Matthew founded, built and operated Taxi Media for APN News and Media and in 2001 went on to found No 1 Taxi Media, which became the present ROVA Media.
Peter Charlton

Sales Director, Adshel Street Furniture
Peter leads the strategic development of Adshel's media sales and heads up the Australian and New Zealand media sales and campaign planning teams. Peter has 20 years media experience and a highly successful track record in outdoor, radio and publishing. He joined Adshel in 2010 from CBS Outdoor in the UK where he was Sales Director since March 2005. In the role, he looked after the business' sales strategy, annual advertising revenues and Poster Specialist contract arrangements. Prior to his current position, Peter held various senior sales roles with Opus GWR Radio Services, Capital Radio Group and in the publishing industry. He replaces Steve McCarthy on the OMA board.
Brendon Cook

Brendon founded Outdoor Network Australia, now known as oOh!media Pty Ltd in 1989. He has been working within the outdoor advertising sales industry for over 25 years. Some of Brendon's achievements include being a Director and Co-founder of ROAM (Research on Outdoor Audience Measurement), member of the Technical Committee of the joint Industry Committee (JIC) on Audience Measurement and eight years involvement in The Exclusive Connection (TEC), the Australian and New Zealand segment of the organisation dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and enhancing the lives of Chief Executives.
Steve O'Connor

Steve entered into the advertising industry as a Sales Manager with Buspak in 1990, and in 1996 was appointed as CEO Buspak Hong Kong. In 1998 Steve returned to Australia where he took up the position of CEO for Buspak Australia and New Zealand. During his six years in this role, Steve grew the Buspak organisation in Australia and New Zealand and established himself as a dynamic and leading force in the outdoor advertising industry. In late 2004 Steve joined JCDecaux as CEO. Steve is responsible for a staff of more than 100 people and a varied portfolio which includes street furniture, transit and billboard advertising.
Gerry Thorley

Gerry joined EYECORP as CEO in 2001, bringing with him 30 years of media experience. Entering the media industry in 1971 at Telecasters North Queensland (Townsville), Gerry subsequently held senior executive roles with the Seven Netowrk and PBL, through to moving to the Out-of-Home sector in 2001. Immediately prior to joining EYE, Gerry spent 12 years with Ten Network Holdings (TEN), initially as General Manager of ATV-10 Melbourne before joining the senior team in 1993 as General Manager of Network Operations based in Sydney. Gerry played a key role in the corporate recontruction of TEN in 1993/94 through to the company's public listing in 1997. Gerry replaces Mike Tyquin as CEO of EYECORP for Australia and New Zealand and continues his existing role as Director of EYECORP Global.
John Tyquin
Joint Managing Director goa billboards
John oversees several companies within the goa group, including goa billboards, the largest privately owned billboard company in Queensland. Prior to outdoor, John spent six years in the radio industry in Brisbane and Sydney.
Leah Whitford
General Manager Independent Outdoor Media (iOM)
Leah has in excess of 13 years experience in the Out-of-Home industry and has international experience across all facets of the business including media, signage hardware and digital production. Prior to joining iOM in 2008 Leah worked for MetroMedia Technologies (MMT) providing cohesive marketing and sales support to MMT's Asia Pacific operations in Australia, NZ, India, Malaysia. For the five years prior to that Leah worked on a number of signage projects and in outdoor media environments in Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Dubai and London. Leah holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Arts (Communications) from RMIT.
