Purpose The poster was part of a city-wide launch campaign for the new IKEA store in Adelaide, which opened in April 2006. The poster segment of the brief was to encourage interaction with the 282-page IKEA catalogue, which was distributed free to every home in Adelaide two weeks prior to the store launch. The brief demanded we reach the broadest section of the Adelaide population, in unexpected places, in order to get the catalogue and new store front of mind, as well as introducing the IKEA brand.
