Work Health & Safety

The OMA is committed to ensuring that the Out-of-Home (OOH) industry remains vigilant and progressive in matters of Work Health & Safety (WHS). As such it has developed an Occupational Health & Safety program aimed at assisting installation and production members with their risk management duties.

The program aims to:

  • Improve risk management of supervisors and educate them about improved communication with employees.
  • Improve accuracy levels of risk assessments and risk control records.
  • Create an ongoing resource that addresses language barriers for employees working in high-risk situations.
Members should consult each state's regulator for current information on state legislation for injury management and rehabilitation.
