Billy Blue College of Design uses QR technology to inspire potential students
Promoting studies of creative technology, interior design, software design and much more, JCDecaux’s partnership with Torrens University of Australia, Billy Blue College of Design, and creative agency Atomic212, aims to get students excited to launch their career.
The new campaign, showcased on Out of Home street furniture and bus shelter wraps, uses 2D extensions and floor decals, as well as graphic imagery spilling out of the frame to inspire creativity.
Interactive QR codes entice passersby to find out more about starting their studies via an augmented reality experience, and generates awareness for the courses of both the College of Design and Torrens University. To date, more than 8000 people have participated by scanning in to the 3D worlds on their devices.
The Billy Blue College of Design, now part of Torrens University, has campuses in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, and strives to deliver innovative design education.
