Early-Career | Full-Time 

The Outdoor Media Association (OMA) is seeking an enthusiastic and creatively driven Multimedia Creator to join our Marketing & Communications team. This is an early‑career opportunity for someone with experience in graphic design, and social content creation, and who is excited to help shape the voice and visual presence of the OMA.

At OMA, we advocate for and represent Australia’s Out of Home (OOH) media industry. You’ll be joining a knowledgeable, supportive and collaborative team working to elevate the impact of OOH across the country.

 

About the Role

Reporting to the EGM Marketing & Communications, the Multimedia Creator will play a key role in the creation of high‑quality digital content, with a particular focus on graphic design and social media storytelling. You will work alongside our dedicated Graphic Designer and contribute to the planning, development and delivery of engaging content across OMA’s digital platforms and events.

This role suits someone who is ready to grow, refine their craft, and take ownership of multimedia content that reaches a national audience.

 

Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver OMA’s weekly content schedule.
    • Create visually compelling graphics and digital assets in partnership with the Graphic Designer.
    • Produce social media content for OMA’s website, social media channels, newsletters and presentations.
    • Lead day‑to‑day social media content delivery, including short‑form video, stills, carousels and stories – all filmed on mobile.
    • Capture content at industry events, presentations and briefings as required.
    • Maintain an organised archive of creative assets and project files.
    • Stay up to date with emerging trends in digital design, social media formats and multimedia production.

 

Essential Requirements

    • Minimum 12 months’ experience in content creation.
    • Demonstrated skills in graphic design using Adobe Creative Cloud.
    • Experience producing and editing video content for social media (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut or similar).
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating polished, professional content.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly with internal stakeholders.

 

Desirable Skills

    • Motion graphics or animation experience.
    • Familiarity with social media analytics and performance tracking.
    • Experience working within a communications, media, or creative environment.
    • Basic photography skills.
