The appointments bring two highly regarded industry leaders into key governance roles at a time of strong momentum for Out of Home, as the industry continues to strengthen collaboration and measurement.

OMA and MOVE Independent Chair, Charles Parry-Okeden, said the appointments reflect the depth of leadership across the Out of Home industry.

“Adam and Kirrily are both highly respected leaders who bring valuable experience, sound judgement and a strong understanding of the opportunities ahead for our industry. I look forward to working with them as OMA and MOVE continue to support the growth of outdoor advertising.”

Whitford brings more than 25 years’ experience across the Out of Home advertising industry in Australia and internationally, with expertise spanning media ownership, regulatory compliance, planning and development, and asset management. A Director of Civic Outdoor and Alliance Outdoor, he adds deep commercial, legal and strategic insight to the OMA Board, alongside a strong commitment to supporting independent media owners and long-term industry growth.

Hirst brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in Australia’s Out of Home media sector and has played a pivotal role in GoTransit Media Group’s growth from a Queensland-based bus advertising business into a national network operating in more than 115 markets. As Director of Sales, she leads the company’s national sales and marketing strategy and brings a strong industry advocacy focus through her contributions to the OMA Marketing Committee.

Together, the appointments reinforce OMA and MOVE’s shared commitment to strong governance, industry collaboration and delivering long-term value for members, agencies and advertisers.
